Practitioner                                     Dr Grose graduated from Sydney University School of Medicine in 1970. He also holds a First Class Honors degree in Science majoring in Pharmacology. He holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of England majoring in Obstetrics.   He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery; a member of The Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia, The International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and a full member of the Australasian College of Sclerotherapy. He is an International member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.   Dr Grose and his staff regularly attend both International and Australian Medical Conferences to make sure that the advice given to patients is the most up to date available. He is involved with the continuing Medical Education activities of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia (CPSA). He is currently Queensland President of the CPSA and is a member of its National Executive. Doctors from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand have visited his practice to learn his techniques for treating acne using Microdermabrasion technology. In September 2000 his Practice Nurse Sr. Wendy Strickland travelled to the UK to teach Doctors and Nurses in London the Australian Skin Clinics techniques. ' We understand your need to look your best.'   At the Australian Skin Clinics you can be confident of getting expert professional advice from experienced, fully trained and qualified Medical Practitioners and Registered Nurses.                                                                                       Practitioner   Dr. Lindsey Smith moved from the UK to Australia in 1992, bringing with her a first class degree in Medicine and Surgery.  Since then she has worked on the Gold Coast in both hospital and community based practices.  She was one of the first female practitioners to own and establish a multidisciplinary general practice and during that time was awarded a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.  She went on to study Law at Bond University, obtaining a first class honours degree in 2002 and went on to practice for a premier law firm in Brisbane for a  short period.   Dr. Smith joined our team at the Australian Skin Clinics in 2006 having trained in Cosmetic Medicine under the skilled guidance of Dr. Douglas Grose and becoming an active member of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgeons.   Dr. Smith has a longstanding passion for personal fitness and weight management.  As such, she greatly appreciates the important role that body image plays, from the public face of the busy executive to the diverse social activities of the homemaker.  Her background in general practice has given Dr. Smith the necessary ability to listen to and understand each client’s individual needs.  She will be happy to give advice on any concerns that you have and guidance as to the most effective and appropriate treatments available.                                                                                Practitioner   Dr Rosenbaum has been performing liposuction for 15 years and has successfully completed thousands of cases. He has also performed nearly 2 thousand breast augmentations. He has enormous experience with many other cosmetic surgery procedures. He is a Fellow of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery (Med) and recently retired as the president of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia (CPSA).   His experience, and constant travel overseas, to both lecture and learn about liposuction and cosmetic surgery, ensure that the latest equipment and techniques are available to enhance your results.
